okay so hey, doing 30 facts about me (in detail) bc i made a promise to someone to do it. timecheck: 11:45pm. idk what i'm doing with my life i need to sleep bc i have chem spa tmr but no sigh idk.
1) my name's amanda. i really love it when people pronounce my name as amandER and not amandAH. like isn't the proper pronunciation amandER? okay reason to why i hate being called amandAH shall be kept a secret, though most of my friends know why ha ha ha.
2) i'm 15 this year and i'm currently studying in commonwealth secondary school. well, i have a love-hate relationship with this school but overall, i guess i can say i don't regret coming here. i've made many great and amazing friends i hope i can keep for the rest of my life. mainly this bunch in the photo above. (ofc there's more like elkan, sherlyn etc)
3) my favourite colour is well, mainly black and white so my ultimate favourite colour will be grey haha. my favourite shade of grey is actually a very light turqouise-ish grey. (#7095a4) many people think that grey is a really sad and moody colour but for me, i actually feel it's just a really calm and neutral colour.
4) continuing from #3, i reall want my room to be painted in that colour above but my mum said it was too dark so........... :(
5) i was born on 13th july 1999. i really love my birthday, esp when it falls on a friday the 13th. surprisingly, friday the 13ths are really lucky days for me, i have no idea why though.
6) i really love balloons, all kinds of balloons, especially pretty character helium balloons. balloons just bring people so much joy and it just really brightens up the atmosphere alot.
7) i love soft toys, like i have massive love for any kind of soft toys, esp huge and cuddly ones. soft toys give me lots of comfort and i sometimes feel that talking to one is a really good way to let everything out. (no i'm not crazy) i have many soft toys at home and most of them have their own names haha. i truly love anyone who gives me soft toys as a present.
8) i have a secret dream to be a wedding photographer, for both wedding photoshoots and the actual wedding itself. weddings are really fun to attend and it'll be reall nice being the one capturing all the special memories down. (and besides, some couples tend to go overseas for their photoshoot so that's a bonus)
9) speaking of being a photographer, i really love photography. i love taking pictures of people, of places and just everything. i personally feel my photography skills are not bad but of course, when it's compared to those really good photographers out there...... mine's nothing haha.
10) which brings me to my next fact... i really want to visit london and see the big ben before i turn 25. london is a really pretty and vintage-y place and being able to actually go there and admire the scenery there, wow. i can't imagine how happy i'll be.
11) and i want to just train down to paris, not for it's eiffel tower, but for a bookstore named shakespeare and co. it's a really pretty store and it's really cool too. it's hard to actually explain what's so special about it so you guys can read up more about it here.
12) haha all my facts are like linked lol. and yes, i really love reading. i love how certain books can just bring you into a whole new world and make you forget all the pains and sufferings in reality. how a book can shape a person's mindset and change a person's feelings. i love spending a few hours in a bookstore, just browsing many different titles and choosing a few to buy. i may not look like one but i'm proud to call myself a bookworm.
13) i would also love to take a road trip around australia and many other places with many special people in my life. road trips are like pretty relaxing and there's many great sceneries around it's just wow.
12) my current favourite song is look after you by louis tomlinson. firstly, no i'm not a directioner but yes, i do love their songs and most importantly, i'm officially in love with louis' voice. he has a really special voice and it really sucks how he has so little lines in all of the songs so i was really happy to find a song with his voice and ony his.
13) my favourite ice-cream flavour is butterscotch, specifically from this ice cream shop at paya lebar called little ice cream kafe. yes, im really picky with food haha. but that ice cream shop has really unique and amzing flavours and i really love their butterscotch ice cream so much that i don't mind eating it for the rest of my life. (not everyday tho lol)
16) i tend to cry alot, especially when i'm watching movies and dramas. i have no idea why but i can literally cry at almost everything, and at times when i least want to cry.
17) i like it when people take the time and effort to plan a surprise for me, though i find out what it is beforehand most of the times haha. but i think it's just really sweet when people give me surprises at random times when i least expect it.
18) i also happen to love baking, especially for people around me. i'm not really good at buying presents and writing cards so baking is a way for me to express my appreciation and love for people and it also doubles as a really good present as it shows that i actually put in effort.
19) i really like long bus rides, only if the bus is a double-deck one. (bc single deck buses make me dizzy hahaha.) long bus rides give me a lot of thinking time and i just really love to get on an empty bus and just take a long ride with my earpeice plugged in and just blocking the whole world out.
20) fun fact: i'm not going back to uss anymore. i believe i mentioned this on instagram so don't be surprised haha. i won't go into details about this but.... i'm just gonna say that it's not a place where i can go to de-stress anymore.
21) i'm missing kristian really badly. it really sucks how he's in london and i'm stuck here, in singaore. but i'm actually really, REALLY happy for him as he's back to his family, esp back to steven haha. sometimes, i really wish i can talk to him more but it's kinda hard with the time difference and all. :((
22) people think i'm a really happy person with no worries and many friends and a really good life.... but tbh, no. i actually hav many stupid problems and am sad 90% of the time. haha ust saying.
23) christmas in coming in like 99 days so cna someone please buy me a huge teddy bear please? i'll love you to death.
24) i sometimes (most of the times) wish i'm musically-inclined. for now, the only thing i can do is play the drums. i wish i can sing but no, i can't with the kn=ind of voice i have so it's sad. :((
25) i love lego and nanoblock and just stuff that i can stack and fix. i have lots of lego at home and i'm proud to say i'm actually good at building it.
